Thirst for knowledge: Mzee Kimani Ng’ang’a Maruge, 88 years old, who entered the Guinness World Book of Records for being the oldest pupil to join standard one at Kapkenduiywo Primary School in Eldoret town in 2004 displays one of the books he used last year at the Langas Police Post where he is camping following post-election violence. Maruge was promoted to standard five but might not attend school that opened today for this year, due to insecurity and distance factor. 13/01/2008
