Nyeri Town MP Duncan Mathenge, accompanied by Ministry of Education officials, addresses journalists at PCEA Nyamachaki Primary School in Nyeri town during the official opening of Grade Nine classrooms on January 7, 2025. He disclosed that out of 43 public primary schools in his constituency, only two do not have Grade Nine classrooms, adding that their construction is awaiting approval. This comes as reports indicate that some areas in the country are still struggling to secure classrooms and learning materials for Junior Secondary School learners.
