Nairobi nominated MCA Anne Muthoni Thumbi during the Inua Mama, Jenga Jamii women political caucus Nairobi chapter organized by nominated senator Millicent Omanga and attended by over 30 MPs allied to Deputy President William Ruto. They said they did not support calls for constitutional amendments or a referendum and also criticized proposals to scrap the Women Representative position, saying it would lock them out of leadership positions.
