After distributing hundreds of copies of the proposed constitution to residents of Gakindu Village, Assistant Minister for Water Mwangi Kiunjuri was surprised when a local resident, Jane Wanja, gave him a rabbit as a gift on June 5, 2010. Kiunjuri was accompanied by Jeremiah Kioni, Ndaragwa MP, and area MP Kabando wa Kabando as they drummed up support for the proposed constitution.
