Alliance Party of Kenya Secretary General Kiraitu Murungi spoke at the KIE where the Alliance Party of Kenya held a meeting on September 15, 2012. Murungi gave leaders Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka and Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta a chance to decide if they needed the support of APK in their own political strong holds.
