Transport Cabinet Secretary James Macharia briefs journalists during the inspection of the progress of the Kenol-Sagana-Marua highway project at Mirira plant in Murang’a on May 31, 2022. He had accompanied the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr Akinwumi Adesina. The megaproject is c0-financed at a cost of $191 million by AfDB, Kenyan government is injecting $52 million and the Africa Growing Together Fund contributing giving $33 million. Dr Adesina is in a four-day visit in the country.
