Signing an agreement on a £2 Million loan from Britain for the East African Common Services in Dar es Salaam earlier this week is EACSO Secretary General A. L. Adu, flanked by British Acting High Commissioner in Tanganyika, H. S. H. Stanley (left), and E. A. R. and H. General Manager G. P. Mackey. The loan will be used to buy electric locomotives and wagon ferries.
