October 29, 1990: President Daniel Arap Moi receives the Kanu Review report. It was presented to him by committee’s chairman Professor George Saitoti, and all the other committee members were present. He thanked the committee for its commitment and the effort it had put into the entire undertaking. The Saitoti committee took 16 days to listen to the views of the Kenyans who managed to appear before it.
