Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri appears before the National Assembly Agriculture, Livestock, and Cooperatives Committee on May 30, 2018. Kiunjuri stated that eight traders were paid KSh 1.8 billion—enough to pay over a thousand farmers—and added that three traders used their ID cards three times under different names to make deliveries to NCPB depots.
