Description

Nasa co-principal Moses Wetangula declared on Saturday that he is ready to work with whoever will be elected as the opposition flag bearer to remove President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto in the August General Election. Addressing supporters in Chakol, Amukura, and Malaba towns in Busia County after a day-long campaign to popularise his Ford Kenya party, Mr. Wetangula said Nasa’s main objective is to unify Kenyans subjected to nepotism and tribalism under the Jubilee administration.
He assured the Iteso community that he would address their needs if chosen as Nasa flag bearer and criticized the government for failing to provide security after rowdy youths disrupted ODM leader Raila Odinga’s rally in Turkana County. Wetangula also called on locals to take advantage of the extended voter registration period to ensure Jubilee is voted out. He was accompanied by Butula MP Michael Onyura, Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa, and Busia senatorial aspirant Okiya Omutata among others. March 18, 2017.
