Councillors from the four counties of Kakamega, Vihiga, Busia, and Bungoma raise their hands to pass a resolution supporting Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo’s presidential bid because of what they described as his good political track record. The endorsement was made when Jirongo addressed them at Bishop Nicholas Stam Pastoral Centre in Kakamega on March 6, 2012, where, under the chairmanship of Kakamega Mayor Matias Sichele, he was invited to explain his mission and vision to the councillors.
