Kisumu Senator Anyang’ Nyong’o, Nyando MP Fred Outa, and a section of Kisumu County leaders address the press outside Central Police Station on March 3, 2017. The leaders condemned the manner in which some youths in Kisumu were arrested two days earlier and accused of being members of an outlawed gang. They met with the Kisumu County Police Commander and agreed to hold a peace meeting with all aspirants in the county in a fortnight to prevent violence as campaigns progress ahead of the general elections.
