Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o addresses journalists at the Sarova Panafric Hotel in Nairobi on May 4, 2022, during a briefing on the preparations for the 9th edition of the Africities Summit in Kisumu. The summit, themed “The Role of Intermediary Cities in Africa in the Implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda and the African Union’s Agenda 2063,” is set to run from May 17 to 21, 2022, and expected to attract over 10,000 participants from across the world.
