Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi addresses the electorate at Nyambare in Lari Sub-County during a meet-the-people tour where he took his re-election campaign ahead of next month’s Jubilee Party nominations. Mr. Wamatangi proposed that counties sharing Level Five hospitals should consider a formula to jointly facilitate the costs of developing the facilities, saying some county governments, like Kiambu, were solely incurring the costs of running and developing hospitals that serve large populations from neighbouring counties.
