Justice Minister Eugene Wamalwa, Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo, and Kakamega Mayor Matias Sichele address a Pambazuka Party campaign rally at Muliro Gardens in Kakamega on July 17, 2013, where they assured residents of the Western Province that they would fully support Musalia Mudavadi for the presidency if he won the Jubilee coalition’s presidential ticket. They said they were strengthening the Pambazuka Party so that if Mudavadi did not secure the Jubilee ticket, he would have the option of running under the Pambazuka Party.
