Mudslides victims’ burial mass: Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen during a burial of 31 people killed by mudslides at Chesongoch in Kerio Valley, Elgeyo Marakwet County early this month, held at St Maurus Academy in Chesongoch on November 21, 2025. They were buried at a site opposite St Benedicts Christ the King Catholic Church Chesongoch, in different graves. Eight people killed in the highlands by the mudslide were buries on Wednesday. Bishop Dominic Kimengich of Eldoret Catholic Diocese presided over the function.
