IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati spoke at the funeral mass of slain IEBC ICT manager Christopher Chege Msando on the 17th of August 2017. The funeral mass was held at the Consolata Shrine and was attended by family, friends and IEBC officials. Christopher was found dead on the 31st of July 2017 after he had gone missing for a day. His murder raised many questions as it occurred just days before the IEBC was to conduct the Kenya General elections.
