Eric Kioko Kanu who before post-election violence was a prominent business young man in the sprawling slum of Mathare Nairobi display his left hand which was chopped off during the post-election violence that left many dead and scores displaced on February 27, 2009.The situation has made Kioko change his career and now he is an artist upcoming DJ sine he cannot depend on begging for food. The country marks the first anniversary after signing the accord that brings together the two parties and stop fight after claims of election rigging in the last general election.
