Description

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen during a meeting at Arror in Kerio Valley, in the county on January 20, 2022. This is after cattle rustlers from the neighbouring community last Sunday attacked the areas and stole animals, barely 100 metre from St Benedict’s Arror Girls Secondary School. The school’s principal posted a video that went viral, of the students taking cover due to a gun shot. Residents are calling on the government to deploy at least two policemen in all schools in the cattle rustling prone areas.
