The Central Organization of Trade Unions, COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli addressing Journalists in Nakuru on October 7, 2013, where he directed the government, through Labor, Social Security and Services cabinet secretary Kazungu Kambi to immediately arrest the management of Karuturi Flower Farm, Naivasha for continued withholding of their employee’s wages. He said over 4, 000 workers have not received their six months’ pay, adding that according to section 17 of the Labor Laws, the management risks being convicted to two years imprisonment for the offence.
