PS State Department of Investment and Industry Betty Maina speaks during the launch of the Kenya Industry and Entrepreneurship Project (KIEP) a partnership between Ministry of Industry, Trade & Cooperatives (MoITC), and the World Bank Group on June 4, 2019, at the intercontinental Hotel in Nairobi. The US$50 million project aims to increase innovation and productivity in select private sector firms for the next 6 years. KIEP is based on the Kenya Vision 2030 that seeks to transform Kenya into a newly industrialized, high middle-income nation.
