Kikuyu Council of Elders patron Kung’u Muigai addresses journalists during a meeting with over 1,500 Kikuyu elders at Kabiruini Showground in Nyeri Town on July 18, 2022. While addressing the meeting, the National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi said that he was meeting the elders from four counties in the mountain region to discuss political matters of the region in a bid to solidify the support of Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto from the region.
