Prof Tom Ojienda, appearing for Homa Bay Governor Cyprian Awiti on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at the Supreme Court buildings during the hearing of an appeal he has filed at the Supreme Court. Mr. Awiti has faulted the High Court and Court of Appeal for ignoring scrutiny and recount of votes, which still showed him ahead of his rival Oyugi Magwanga.
